Summary
Digital Nativ is a digital fabrication studio founded out of passion for creating compelling, disruptive, iconic brand building tools and experiences that connect with end-users, regardless of category or industry.
HOW WE MAKE
Specializing in rapid prototyping and custom hardware development, we take concepts from scientific research through development and into manufacture.
Our work at Digital Nativ combines computer graphics and programming software with computer aided tools, to explore a new paradigm of product design and manufacture.
In conjunction with designing objects, we craft computational systems that result in a myriad of distinct creations. These systems are realized using automated commands in manufacturing techniques such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC routing.
WHY WE MAKE
Digital Nativ is an enabler.
Our projects center around the adoption of technology as part of our creative process. More than a tool for branding and business development, it is our medium. The systems we create are digital materials, which through applied parameters, evolve inherent properties and behaviors, giving form to ideas.
This experimental disposition may not always manifest in immediate commercial application. Rather, it is an investment in longevity -from the exploration of these technological processes, we are cultivating an information bank, of which tangible benefits can be derived.
